Who we are

Our Business Group is located in the city of Maia and Vila do Conde, 10 km from Oporto Airport.

Maia is the largest industrial complex in the country, with more than 20.000 (twenty thousand) companies.

Our experience dates back to 1972, when the founder of the Group started importing vending machines and coffee machines from Italy. From that time to the present day, the Group has grown and is present in various business areas, through specific food solutions for Hospitality, Vending and Immediate consumption.

SABORES TRADICIONAIS or TRADITIONAL FLAVOURS, is a brand of the Group, which is dedicated towards the export of food products, with special focus on the African continent.

In 2010, the brand pioneered the development of ready-to-eat meals, being the first brand in Portugal to launch the first menus specifically for vending machines.

Over the last few years we have developed and created specific food solutions with the aim of ensuring a safe and quality meal in places and scenarios where food preparation is practically impossible or unsafe.

We are specialists in creating specific solutions for each scenario. We develop individual food rations, consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are intended to solve problems in various areas (food in schools, police, army, military quarters, firefighters, civil protection, air force, navy, mines, war and disaster scenarios) as well as other places where food cannot be prepared and cooked safely.

We develop specific meals for each country, according to their religious beliefs and eating habits.

Our logistics facilities, with more than 4,000 square meters, ensure the stock and production of the various products, always in accordance with our customer's needs.

We have an experienced human resources team, focused on assuring, at all times, the highest standards of quality and safety for all products developed by our Group, and by our partners.

All the products, developed by our brand 'SABORES TRADICIONAIS' and by our partners, are certified and comply with the most demanding standards of the European Economic Community, regarding quality and food safety.
